Nilgiri Mountains is one of the most popular tourist center in the Bandarban region which is located at the peak of Nilgiri Mountains and hence the name is given. Nilgiri Mountains is around 45KM south of the Bandarban town. Its located beside the Bandarban to Thachi road.
You must rent a local Jeep (Chander gari) along with it’s driver in order to reach Nilgiri Mountains. Once you reach the place you can enjoy the real beauty of Bandarban. Here clouds and mountains meet together and creates a mesmerizing environment. Please note that the best time to visit this place is the monsoon as the entire areas are covered by the clouds most of the time. In the monsoon, the greenery of the mountains are also charming.
