- Nafakhum Waterfalls is a stunning natural attraction located in Remakri Union, Thanchi, within the Bandarban District of Bangladesh. This place is renowned for being one of the most active waterfalls in Bangladesh and is inside the tough terrain of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. This is completely a hidden beauty as it is located in such a remote area that only few people visit this place regularly. The trek is amazing, you have to walk two hours from Remakri Waterfall to reach Nafakhum. You should bring a local tour guide in order to reach here. There are no restaurants or foods availability in this place so you must bring dry foods and water bottle in order to survive this tough river side path. The path is surrounded by the lush green mountains, crickets are cricking all around in the jungle. Please remember to bring such shoes which are perfect for watery ways. Be careful while treking this road as there are stones which are so much slippery. Venomous snakes such as Pit Viper, Red Neck Keelback and King Kobra are available in this region so be cautous while walking this road.
- Nilgiri Mountains is one of the most popular tourist center in the Bandarban region which is located at the peak of Nilgiri Mountains and hence the name is given. Nilgiri Mountains are around 45KM south of the Bandarban town. Its located beside the Bandarban to Thachi road. You must rent a local Jeep (Chander gari) along with it’s driver in order to reach Nilgiri Mountains. Once you reach the place you can enjoy the real beauty of Bandarban. Here clouds and mountains meet together and creates a mesmerizing environment. Please note that the best time to visit this place is the monsoon as the entire areas are covered by the clouds most of the time. In the monsoon, the greenery of the mountains are also charming.
- Nilachal Tourist Center is a mountain peak in Bandarban. Tourists are attracted by its beauty and the scenic view of Bandarban township from this location. Seeing sunset is the most attractive thing in this place. This area is 6KM away from the Bandarban and it needs around 20 minutes to reach Nilachal by a Jeep. Jeep rental is possible at Bandarban town. CNGs are also available. There are no public buses or any other services so renting a jeep or CNGs is mandatory. When you are at the peak of the mountain you may find some cultural activities are going on and you can feel free to join there. Photographic view is pretty and it will be a great memory for your lifetime.
- Buddha Dhatu Jadi is known as the Bandarban’s Golden Temple. The temple is located near to the Balaghata town, in Bandarban City. It is the largest Theravada Buddhist temple in Bangladesh and has the second-largest Buddha statue in the country. The Bandarban Golden Temple belongs to the Theravada Buddhism order, which is practiced by the Marma indigenous people, a dominant ethnic group of Bandarban. It was built in 2000 in Arakanese architecture, an adoption of the South East Asia style.

Location Information
Bandarban is located in the southeastern part of Bangladesh, situated in the Chittagong Division. This is one of the four main districts in the Chittagong hill tracts.
